Raymond Central offers a competitive package, recognizing years of service for salary credit.  First year teachers begin at Step 3, with a starting salary of $45,252.00, plus additional compensation for advanced education.  The district also covers the cost for all tiers of health insurance through the Educators Health Alliance.

Requirements: 

• Education: Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Education from an accredited college or university
• A valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate 
• Good human relations skills
• Ability to work with students, staff, administration, and parents
• Knowledge of subject area to be taught
• Ability to plan lessons, teach to an objective, have the lesson at the correct level of difficulty, check for understanding during the lesson, and monitor and adjust the lesson as necessary
• Knowledge of child development
• Excellent skills in oral and written communication
